Jessica

Jessica

My parents gave me the name „Jessica“(which isn’t that surprising). They actually wanted to call me “Angela”, but then they watched a documentary about a woman who was addicted to drugs and pregnant. She gave birth to a little baby girl called “Jessica”. And that’s basically how I got my name. Not only is the story of how I got my name a little weird but also my life in general.

I’m 22 years old and currently in my third semester of a Bible School. I love traveling, getting to know cultures and the English Language. My native tongue is Swiss- German. Oh, and I love puns, especially the bad ones I make – thank God I have Tris who’s always laughing at them. (I’m still not sure what the look on Debbie´s face means. She usually rolls her eyes but still looks amused. A little. At least that’s what I tell myself.) My extroverted personality has gotten me into trouble quite a few times but then again it has given me some of the best opportunities and moments in life.

The main reason why I am doing this is because I really, really love God. I am amazed by how he constantly shows me the beauty that he put into this world. And that’s one of my many passions.

Patricia

Patricia

Hey beauty! I’m Patricia but most people call me Trish/Tris or Tritschgi (some weird name I got when I was about 2 years old). I’m 18 now and currently taking my second gap year before Uni (yes, I started to go to school when I was pretty young – younger than normally at least). Since I really am in love with music it’s not unlikely that I’m going to be an artist of some kind at one point. I’m probably way too crazy for a normal job anyway.

I’m really glad Jess had the amazing idea of a blog that would include the three of us.

I know I’m (still) pretty young but I’d love to know how or if telling my story and the things that I’ve been through in the past 18 years would touch one of your life’s. If this happens, it would be a great success, at least from my point of view.

I have experienced God’s love and beauty in so many parts of my life. I’ve needed years to notice that in some ways! It’s a privilege for me to write about it and share with all of you guys. And I hope you don’t just enjoy it but that it might inspire you to see his love and beauty in your life as well.

Debbie

Debbie

Hey to all you beautiful readers out there!

My name is Debbie. Well actually Deborah but I like to be called Debbie, I don’t know why actually it just sounds cuter and sweeter (or maybe I’m just weird like that). I’m currently 19 years old, and also like Jess studying at the Bible Seminary. We are actually in the same class and it’s a blast!

I grew up all around the World because my parents were Missionaries. So I am a very international person. I love to travel and discover the different cultures and languages. It’s so exciting to see what God has put in every country and how each has its own Beauty. That kind of reminds me of every girl and woman that is out there. We are each so different and yet so uniquely Beautiful!

When Jess told me that she wanted Trish, her and me to write a Blog I was like yeah girl let’s do it. I think that we have a lot to share, especially on the subject Beauty. Today real Beauty has been so distorted and many girls have a wrong perspective of what beauty actually is. That’s why I think it’s important that every girl and woman out there knows and believes that she is beautiful, and not just any kind of Beauty, but the Beauty that God gave us and how he sees us in his eyes. That is why I hope that when you read this Blog you get inspired to discover the real Beauty that you are!!!
